The Carrie Diaries Season 1, Episode 3, “Read Before Use” Synopsis: Dirty Details and Green Solutions
Ahhh, those awkward teenage years. You remember, right? The years when every breakup was a broken heart, every mistake seemed like it would be fodder forever, and nothing good felt permanent. These are the struggles of Carrie Bradshaw(AnnaSophia Robb) and her friends on The Carrie Diaries.
Ever since we found out that Carrie and Sebastian (Austin Butler) weren’t exactly a done deal, we’ve been worried about the two blond cuties. It looks like Season 1, Episode 3, “Read Before Use,” isn’t going to do anything to quell our fears.
On the friend front, Maggie’s (Katie Findlay) been having trouble adjusting back to life with her boyfriend and it’s all about to come to an end. Considering the synopsis hints that she finds “solace from Dorrit (Stefania Owen),” we’re thinking she may be gateway drugging her way to some weed (remember Episode 1?). Here’s everything else that happens:
After Tom (Matt Letscher) forbids Carrie to see Sebastian again, Carrie snoops through Tom’s work files and uncovers some alarming information about Sebastian’s past. Carrie decides to confront Sebastian about what she’s discovered and is shocked by his reaction. Maggie deals with her breakup with Walt (Brenden Dooling) in the only way she knows how and finds some solace from Dorrit . Meanwhile, Larissa (Freema Agyman) takes Carrie, Mouse (Ellen Wong) and Seth (special guest Kyle Harris) to an outrageous performance art club in New York City, which leaves them all feeling self-conscious.
