What Does the Cast of Vanderpump Rules Want to Be When They Grow Up?
The wait staff at Sur, Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star Lisa Vanderpump’s sexy Hollywood restaurant, are also the stars of her new reality show Vanderpump Rules. But these folks are so much more than just waiters and bartenders. These beautiful people have big dreams. But what are they? According to waitress Stassi, the servers at Sur, “All want to be models, actors, writers, singers. The servers at other Hollywood restaurants just want to be waiters at Sur.” While it seems unlikely that no other waiters in Hollywood have aspirations beyond the restaurant industry, we were curious to know what these particular characters want to be when they grow up. Hint: it can be summed up with one word: “famous.” Here we go: Katie: “At the moment I love working at SUR, but ultimately I want to have my own record label and not have to sling food and drinks to pay my rent.” Scheana, on her way into a recording studio: “Ever since I was little I always saw myself moving out here and just being famous and making a name for myself. I never planned on being a singer, never took vocal lessons or played an instrument, but this record producer was looking for a brunette Britney type, and asked me if I wanted to cut a demo, and I was like, ‘Why not?’” Kristen (re: herself and boyfriend Tom): “Our friends back in the Midwest, they’re set in their careers and their white picket fence. For us, we’re still working toward all that, so we both work at SUR. What we really want to do is be working actors.” Kristen: “In five years, I want to be known for the work that I do. If fame comes along with that, that would be really cool.” Tom, after telling Jax his band is headlining at the Viper Room: “I do want to be famous. I don’t know if I want Michael Jackson-type fame, but I definitely would love to be famous.” That leaves server Stassi and bartender Jax as the professional enigmas of the group so far, though at one point Jax was heading off to shoot a BMW commercial at one point, so our money is on actor.
