Dancing With The Stars

DWTS Pro Dmitry Chaplin Makes Killer Acting Debut on Bones

Dancing With the Stars pro Dmitry Chaplin definitely gets our 10 paddle for his appearance on last night’s episode of Bones, “The Diamond in the Rough.”

Not only did the sexy Russian choreograph and dance in the episode, he also had to do some serious acting in a fairly big role as Kendrick Mann — aka the best dancer on the eastern seaboard. And he killed it! Not literally, though. Dmitry’s character was accused of murder but — spoiler alert! — he didn’t do it.

But it did look like he had fun with stars David Boreanaz and Emily Deschanel, whose characters (Booth and Bones) went undercover as contestants in the popular (fictional) ballroom dancing competition, Dance to the Top. Plus, the So You Think You Can Dance alum got to play alongside fellow SYTYCD guest stars Mary Murphy and Tyce Diorio.

Did you catch the episode? You might be able to watch it here on Fox’s site. At the very least you can watch a clip from the show here. And you can read all about the episode in Wetpaint’s recap.

Congrats, Dmitry! (Sniff) We’re so proud of you!
