Pretty Little Liars: Upcoming Tension for Paige and Emily: “It Changes Their Love”
In the Pretty Little Liars universe, if you can’t handle traumatic situations, you’re never going to last. But not everyone can just move on with their daily lives after being kidnapped and/or nearly killed. In this week’s episode (Season 3, Episode 15: "Mona-Mania!"), we got to see how much Paige (Lindsey Shaw) is struggling with getting her life back to normal. So now our question is: Will Paige’s reaction to everything affect her relationship with Emily (Shay Mitchell)?

“Obviously Emily has one viewpoint and Paige has another, and I think that they both try to pull each other toward their point of view. We start to see that they're each taking what happened to them very differently — and that puts a strain on their relationship. It takes its toll, and you'll have to wait and see as events unfold. We'll see how they come back together from that,” Lindsey said.
But don’t worry, Paily fans. A strain on their relationship doesn’t mean that things are doomed. Actually, it might mean just the opposite.
“We will see a strong Paige again and we will see an incredible and romantic [Emily and Paige] again, but what comes between I can't lay down. It's epic, though; it changes their love.”
Changes it in a good way or a bad way? If we get to see romantic Paily again, we would assume good, but based on another interview Lindsey did with ET Online, we’re not so sure.
“Of course, on PLL, you only get light to get dark again, so she's only reasonable for so long,” Lindsey said.
We think Lindsey is talking about Paige getting over her voice-of-reason phase and starting to fight back, which might not be safe, but could be good for the couple. Paige said it best: Emily likes strong women.
What do you want to see happen with Paily this season?
