The Voice Season 3 Winner Cassadee Pope Signs a Record Deal With Taylor Swift’s Label

Though Cassadee Pope originally portrayed herself as a punk rocker on The Voice, she really opened herself up to a new audience when she delved into the country music genre on Team Blake.

Her cover of Miranda Lambert’s “Over You” reached No. 1 on the iTunes charts and set records for the show. Now, as Cassadee prepares to release her first album, she has landed on a record label well-suited to her country/pop rock needs.

According to Access Hollywood, Cassadee is signing with Republic Nashville the same label that houses Taylor Swift and The Band Perry.

Cassadee has already announced that she intends on releasing an album within the next month, and a single by the end of January.

Do you think Republic Nashville is the right fit for this Voice winner? Weigh in below!
