Why would anyone want a slave or slave owner doll from a Quentin Tarantino movie?
There's a whole series of action figures from Django Unchained — you can check them out here — but TMZ reports they've been discontinued after advocacy groups like Al Sharpton’s National Action Network and Project Islamic Hope spoke out in protest.
The film's production company (Weinstein Company) reached out to the toymakers, who said they never intended to offend anyone. They only released around 1,000 before shutting down production. So now, in a weird way, those dolls are collectors' items.
