At the Bachelor cocktail party in Los Angeles on January 11, we asked Emily if she’s even interested doing another reality show after The Bachelorette. Her response: It’s not her first goal, but she’s not exactly writing it off, either.
“I always said I would never be the Bachelorette,” Emily told us. “I always said I would never do The Bachelor. And here I am! So I’ve learned never say never but right now I’m just enjoying being a mom and hanging at home.”
But as for her involvement on DWTS specifically, Emily had no big news to share. “I have no idea where those rumors came from, honest to goodness.” That said, Em says she would certainly be open to doing the show. “?ike I said, I never said I would do Bachelorette, and here I am, so I’ve learned to never say never to anything.”
But can she dance? “I think every girl thinks they can, but whether they can or not is another thing.” There’s also been a bit of talk that DWTS dance pro Cheryl Burke might be a good Bachelorette. When asked about the fit, Emily had only good things to say.
“I don’t think it has anything to do with anything other than, if you have the heart. If you really truly do want to find somebody, then you’re a good Bachelorette. If you’re not there for the right reasons, then you’re not going to be a good Bachelorette but I think she’d be great if that’s what she really wants.”
