Zap2It spoke to PLL executive producer Oliver Goldstick about what will happen when the girls graduate high school (if we ever get there). Will they leave Rosewood? Will the cameras follow them? Will the series end before then?
“I think five [seasons] is what we originally thought. But there are ways to invigorate this show, interestingly enough. We've talked, internally, about introducing four new Pretty Little Liars; we've talked about that with the studio. There could be four new girls after these girls graduate, who witness or participate in some sort of crime, and all of a sudden you have four new girls who are lying. I don't know! But for now, with these girls, we've all thought that we've got five seasons in them,” Oliver said.
Four new Liars?! Could you say goodbye to Hanna, Aria, Spencer and Emily and move on to a new group of high schoolers who are forced to live through more black hoodies, anonymous text messages and enormous amounts of tragedy? Or would you rather the show end after Season 5?
Do you like the idea of four new Liars, or do you have a better suggestion for Oliver?
