However, Lindsay doesn't seem to be interested. At the end of 2011, she said she'd love for her mom, Dina Lohan, to do the show. And TMZ just learned that Lindsay turned down several offers to join DWTS Season 16 (which starts March 18), with "offers that maxed out at $550,000." (!!!)
TMZ says Lindsay still owes hundreds of thousands of dollars in back taxes, but she told friends she'd never consider doing reality TV. But maybe DWTS just has to be patient. Or maybe they should stop even trying. Lindsay might be considered a casting coup, and good for the rubber-necking factor (and potential ratings), but would the core fan base really be interested in watching her dance — especially when she seems to look down on the show and would only be doing it for money?
