"The fan base for that particular couple is really large and really passionate,” Naya tells TV Guide. “So yeah, they don't want to see Brittany and Santana apart, but I think that it is good for the characters to not stay stagnant and to grow a little bit."
Naya praised Brittana’s current friendship, while also sneaking in a little Finchel diss. "It's amazing that Brittany and Santana still have love for each other, and they're not awkward like Rachel (Lea Michele) and Finn (Cory Monteith),” Naya says. Ouch! Consider yourselves zinged, Finn and Rachel.
So will Santana eventually be joining Rachel and Kurt in the Big Apple, as we’ve been promised by Glee producers? "I'm still wondering myself," Naya admits. "I think it would be really good for her. I think it would be funny. I would love to see that happen for her." Join the club, Naya.
Speaking of “Diva,” the episode will feature a throwback to one of Glee’s signature moments: the diva-off! "There is another Rachel and Kurt(Chris Colfer) diva-off," Lea Michele reveals, referring to their battle on “Defying Gravity” in Season 1. "It's another Broadway song."
Let’s face it: One thing this show can never have is too many divas.
