American Idol 2013: Which Was Your Favorite Baton Rouge Audition?
Tonight’s episode of American Idol 2013 was short and sweet, but we saw tons of talent come out of Baton Rouge, Louisiana. Despite moments when the judges were underwhelmed by the auditioners coming through, they still decided to send 35 singers to Hollywood.
But which audition was your favorite? Was it Charlie Askew’s idiosyncratic yet amazing renditions of Queen’s “Breakthrough” and Nat King Cole’s “Nature Boy”? Or Maddie Assel’s spur-of-the-moment nomination to sing for the judges? Or was Burnell’s moving story of rebuilding his life after Hurricane Katrina and his beautiful version of “I’m Here” from The Color Purple the performance of the night?
