Glee Spoiler: The Warblers Are Back — But Did They Cheat at Sectionals?

They’re baaaaaack!

When we last saw the Dalton Academy Warblers, they were busy crushing the New Directions at Sectionals during Season 4, Episode 8: “Thanksgiving.” No offense to “Gangnam Style” or anything, but we’re pretty sure that Sebastian’s (Grant Gustin) “Live While We’re Young” put the New Ds to shame.

Though it appears that McKinley has been bumped out of the competitive circuit for the rest of the year, that might not actually be the case.

FOX’s official synopsis for Glee’s first new episode of 2013, Season 4, Episode 11: “Sadie Hawkins,” states that Sam (Chord Overstreet) and Blaine (Darren Criss) investigate a possible cheating scandal at Sectionals.”

We know from Twitter that Nolan Gerard Funk (Hunter) and the Warblers will be back for the episode, though sadly we have not seen any evidence that Grant Gustin (Sebastian) was able to join them. (Darn you CW: you and your flawless CW-haired hunks. No fair stealing him away from us!)

In mid-December, Nolan tweeted this photo of Hunter’s Glee return for Episode 11. “Behind the scenes on set for @gleeonfox” he wrote.

Details are slim as to what exactly the Warblers’ return will entail, but Nolan did tweet that he was filming something “hysterical.” Now we’ve got to know: What exactly will Sam and Blaine uncover about the Warblers, anyway? How could they have cheated? And — more importantly — will Hunter and the boys be able to look nearly as attractive when they’re not wearing those dapper Warbler jackets?

These are important questions, people. Important.
