There's a new boss in town: Dr. Cahill, a physician advisor brought on to help the hospital save money. After pissing everyone off, she came up with a bold proposal: cut the ER. Whoa. Do you think they'll actually do that?

Meanwhile, Meredith's (Ellen Pompeo) pregnancy hormones were throwing her out of whack all episode, which made dealing with a patient with a failing liver even harder than normal; Arizona (Jessica Capshaw) suffered from phantom limb pain, which Owen (Kevin McKidd) helped her tackle; and Derek (Patrick Dempsey) put his hand to a test with a complicated surgery.

This episode was solid, but nothing about it really caught our attention, though the ER plotline could be interesting. We give it 3 stars. What did you think?

I liked this episode!

I wasn't a fan.
