The Vampire Diaries

Vampire Diaries Synopsis For Season 4, Episode 12, “A View to a Kill” — Is Stefan Getting Over Elena With [Spoiler]?

Oh, no! Mystic Falls is in danger in Vampire Diaries Season 4, Episode 12, “A View to a Kill” — danger of missing out on a killer party, that is.

First off, don’t ask Rebekah (Claire Holt) for a favor! The Original sisters decides to give Kol (Nathaniel Buzolic) free reign in whatever he’s plotting. Klaus (Joseph Morgan) wants her to reel their brother in and look out for Jeremy (Steven R. McQueen), but she’s not having it. We’re not sure what Kol’s up to, but apparently the baby-faced vamp has no problem menacing Bonnie (Kat Graham) in the meantime.

The witch also has teenage problems. Like parents everywhere, her dad just doesn’t understand: Mayor Hopkins (Rick Worthy) is dealing with Mystic Falls’ murder problem by calling off the school’s 1980s Decade Dance. Hey, it sounds kind of sensible to us (those dances are deadly!), but Bex is disappointed. Guess who comes to her rescue? Stefan (Paul Wesley)! Hopefully his plan involves Cyndi Lauper, hair spray, puffy paint, and a Full House marathon.

Rebekah’s not the only one looking to Stefan for help. Klaus wants Mr. Salvatore to protect Jeremy. (Dude really wants to see the young Gilbert all tatted up, doesn’t he?)

When it comes to matters of the heart, however, Klaus asks Damon (Ian Somerhalder) for help. The OV also lets some personal details about Stefan slip during his conversation with the elder Salvatore.

Finally, Elena (Nina Dobrev) lets Stefan in on her risky Jeremy protection plan, which complicates things for the male vampire.

A View to a Kill” (Content Rating TBD) (HDTV)

DANGEROUS LIAISONS — When Rebekah (Claire Holt) turns down Klaus’ (Joseph Morgan) plea to stop Kol (Nathaniel Buzolic) and protect Jeremy (Steven R. McQueen), Klaus turns to Stefan (Paul Wesley) for help. After an angry confrontation with her father, Mayor Hopkins (guest star Rick Worthy), over his unconventional approach to ending the violence in Mystic Falls, Bonnie (Kat Graham) has a frightening run-in with Kol, followed by an unexpected visitor. Klaus complicates the already tense feelings between Stefan and Damon (Ian Somerhalder) by revealing a bit of Stefan’s personal life, then surprises Damon by asking for personal advice. Elena (Nina Dobrev) tells Stefan about her dangerous plan for Jeremy, leaving Stefan in a difficult spot. When the high school’s 1980s Decade Dance is cancelled by Mayor Hopkins, Stefan finds a charming way to make it up to a disappointed Rebekah. Brad Turner directed the episode written by Rebecca Sonnenshine (#412).
