Glee

Glee Season 4, Episode 11’s Best and Worst Songs — Do You Agree?

Glee manages to pack an insane number of songs into each episode, which means there will always be a few standouts, along with the inevitable dud or two. We've narrowed the performances from Season 4, Episode 11: “Sadie Hawkins,” down to the very best and the coulda-done-without. Do you agree with our picks?

Best Performance of the Night: “No Scrubs” by the New Directions guys

There weren’t many songs to refer to as busters this week, and the girls’ take on Bruno Mars’ “Locked Out of Heaven” in particular was out of this world. But the boys crushed it on “No Scrubs,” between the harmonies, the dance moves, and the overall giddiness it induces. After this song, these guys can holler at us from their best friends’ rides all they want.

Worst Performance of the Night: “Baby Got Back” by Adam and the Adam’s Apples

We appreciate Glee trying something different with this song although they probably should have credited the person who wrote the arrangement but this version just didn’t work. We don’t necessarily blame new guy Adam (Oliver Kieran-Jones), whose voice sounded fine, but the song comes off as a little too goofy and forced. Sadly, this performance did not have it goin’ like a turbo ‘Vette.

I would have chosen differently.

I totally agree!
