Mark Salling Speaks Out on “Fraudulent” Lawsuit: I Will Vigorously Defend Myself
Actor Mark Salling (Puck) was at last night’s Screen Actors Guild Awards with the nominated cast of Glee, but he got serious when Ross Matthews of E! News asked him about his recent lawsuit.
Mark is being sued by a woman named Roxanne Gorzela, who alleges he forced her to have sex without a condom while they were dating two years ago. She says she later went to his home to discuss the matter and found him with another woman.
Mark didn’t shy away from discussing the allegations — however vaguely — telling E!, “You hear about fraudulent lawsuits all the time, [but] ’til it happens to you, you really don’t grasp what it does not to just you but your family. You know, you want the legal process to happen as fast as possible but it takes time. I want the chance to defend myself — and I will, vigorously.”
How is it for him, dealing with allegations like this in such a public forum? "Well, it's the first time for me, so you kind of have to learn as you go," he said, "but like with anything else, you have to stay positive and count on the people that actually do know you and love you, and that you love, as well. Friends, family — and Ross Mathews!" he quipped. "You just have to stay positive, and I personally have a relationship with Jesus Christ and I count on that myself. And my parents are awesome, too."
We will probably hear more about this soon — even if we'd rather not. Good luck, Mark!
