The Vampire Diaries

Vampire Diaries Season 4, Episode 11: Who Was the Biggest Badass?

There was a lot of running in The Vampire Diaries Season 4, Episode 11, “Catch Me If You Can.” Add in a few fire spells, tunnel chases, and Polynesian knife wielding, and you have quite a few contenders for biggest baddest. Let’s review.

Stefan (Paul Wesley) broke his brother’s neck, bloodletted him, and had some of the best one-liners of the night. Before Damon (Ian Somerhalder) went all somnambulatory, he taught Jeremy (Steven R. McQueen) some hunter tricks and did manage to not kill Elena’s (Nina Dobrev) little brother.

And speaking of the new vamp, she came up with a plan that just might work — or at least, it might be slightly safer than Jer having to kill dozens of vamps one at a time. She also helped save Matt (Zach Roerig), who conducted himself admirably, considering the circumstances. (Hey, it’s hard to run away from vampires!)

Bonnie (Kat Graham) finally stood up to Shane (David Alpay), and it was pretty awesome! But then he used some Jedi mind trick to douse her flames, so he is also a contender. Sorry, Mayor. Your fumbling was less badass.

And we can’t forget Kol (Nathaniel Buzolic), who compelled Damon and nearly killed his sister. As for Klaus (Joseph Morgan), he was kind of the don, who simply had to sit back and wait for Elena to ask him for help.

We have to give a shout out to that mysterious stranger, too. He bit off his own tongue and then stabbed himself to death. Morbid and disgusting, yes, but we’d be remiss if we didn’t mention him.

Let’s hear it! Who was the biggest badass of them all?

Eh, no one was that badass.

There are a lot of options!
