Courtney Robertson Talks Returning to the Runway at New York Fashion Week! Exclusive
Courtney Robertson is returning to her roots. No, we’re not talking about her tresses — her brunette mane is 100-percent natural — we’re talking about her fashion roots. You see, before she shot to stardom as the winner of The BachelorSeason 16, the LA beauty got her start in the modeling world doing runway work. And now, she’s headed back to the catwalk in honor of a great cause. Courtney is one of several famous faces participating in the Reality of Fashion/Reality of AIDS show during New York Fashion Week in NYC on Feb 9. Other stars slated to strut their stuff include Michelle Money, and Real Housewives Ramona Singer, Alex McCord, and Sheree Whitfield as well as Jersey Shore’s Deena Nicole.

“I’m so excited about it,” Courtney tells Wetpaint Entertainment. “But I have to admit, I’m also a little nervous. It’s been a long time since I’ve walked in a runway show. When I first started out, I did a lot — my very first show was for Swarovski actually. But that was years ago.”
Still, the chance to help raise money and awareness for AIDS charities was an offer she couldn’t pass up. “One of my best friends passed away from AIDS,” Courtney explains. “So it hits close to home. It means a lot to me to be able to support this cause.”
And while she’s not doing as much runway work as she used to, she’s still very in demand as an actress and model. “I’m mainly focused on commercials now, “she tells Wetpaint. “I still do direct bookings, but commercial auditions and callbacks keep me pretty busy.”
And she’s looking forward to reuniting with two fellow Bachelor contestants — Jaclyn Swartz and Rachel Truehart — both who live in NYC and will be coming out to show their support at the show.
“It’ll be great to see everyone,” Courtney says. “I’m just going to have fun with the show and then we’re all going to do a big girls night out after!”
