Should Grey’s Anatomy Get Rid of the New Interns? You Tell Us

Grey's Anatomy has never been afraid to introduce new characters, but Season 9’s newest interns have been rubbing some fans the wrong way.

After killing off fan favorites Lexie (Chyler Leigh) and Mark (Eric Dane), Shonda Rhimes and co. brought in a whole class of newbies we were expected to warm up to. It didn't entirely work.

We like some of the interns (Shane [Gaus Charles] can definitely stick around, and not just because he's eye candy), but the longer the season goes on, the more we wish the rest would go away and leave room for the docs we love.

In our opinion, the show would be best served by keeping one or two of the more popular interns around, while downplaying the other ones. It is nice to see our fave docs act as teachers, but we don't need so many interns to get the point.

Do you agree, or do you want this whole class of interns to remain prominent characters?

Catch the next new episode of Grey’s Anatomy on Thursday, January 31, 2013, at 9 p.m. ET/PT on ABC.
