Will Kate Beckett Kill Senator Bracken in Castle Season 5, Episode 13: “Recoil”?
He’s back! But will Senator William H. Bracken, the brains behind Johanna Beckett’s murder, still be standing when the smoke clears on Monday’s all-new episode of Castle? Beckett had her chance to take out Bracken before, but vowed to get justice another way, rather than sinking to his level. When new evidence links the Senator to a young woman’s death, will Beckett have a change of heart? Kate currently has the power over the Senator, or at least Bracken thinks she does. That second file, the one that incriminates Bracken, was technically blown to smithereens, but what Bracken doesn’t know won’t kill him, will it? Even though Beckett is tasked with protecting the sleazeball — talk about a conflict of interest — we hope she is playing a nice game of “keep your enemies closer” to gather evidence on Bracken and send him behind bars where he belongs. On the other hand, this is not just any case, people — this is THE case of all cases. Her mother’s cold-blooded killing has dictated Beckett’s life ever since she was a freshman in college. And now, knowing that Bracken managed to strike again, because she, literally, couldn’t pull the trigger, might consume her even more. Being an upstanding politician, Beckett could see no other choice, but to finish him once and for all. What do you think, Castle fans? Will Beckett kill Bracken in the heat of a moment and finally get closure for herself? Or will vengeance come at the hands of prison bars? Weigh in down below.
