Super Bowl 2013 Power Outage: Why Did the Lights Go Out at the New Orleans Superdome?

Looks like Beyonce literally brought the house down at the 2013 Super Bowl XLVII! Announcer Dan Marino proclaimed, "Beyonce must've knocked the lights out, man!"

The power went out at New Orleans' Mercedes-Benz Superdome on February 3, 2013, shortly after Beyone's explosive, all-out halftime performance. A power surge knocked out a number of the lights and delayed the third quarter of the game by about 35 minutes due to an outside power feed to the stadium cutting out. The biggest question after the outage is: How will it affect the game's second half? Will this give San Francisco time to regroup and refocus?

While you're waiting for the game to start back up, watch Beyonce rehearse for tonight's halftime performance below!
