Adam Levine Talks The Voice Season 4: “I Need to Shut [Blake Shelton]’s Mouth”

Forget the two new coaches set to take their seats in the big red chairs come The Voice Season 4! Adam Levine only has eyes for one rival Blake Shelton.

The two “bros” have always been the two most competitive judges on the show, and now that Blake has two wins under his belt, Adam’s sick of hearing his bestie brag.

“I need to shut his mouth,” Adam told Access Hollywood. “I need to win so I can shut his face.”

And Adam’s even willing to lose this season if it means Blake won’t take home the top prize.

“I just want him to fail,” he continued. “It has less to do with my success. I just want to see him lose.”

But these two seasoned vets might have to make way for newcomers Usher and Shakira come Season 4.

“I know that Usher, he’s going to get crazy competitive, which I love,” Adam revealed. “Shakira is finding her way. don’t underestimate Shakira. She’s got claws ... good, competitive claws.”

Will Blake be able to pull out win no. 3? Or will someone new take the title this season? Tell us your thoughts below!
