Corey Simms’s Father Apologizes to Jenelle Evans For “Offensive” Tweets
With plenty of people hating on some of our favorite Teen Moms, it’s always upsetting when there’s drama between the girls and their family members.
During last night’s finale of Teen Mom 2 Season 3, Jeff Simms (father of baby daddy Corey) tweeted some thoughts about Jenelle Evans’ expletive-laced conversation with her mother Barbara.
“If Corey talked to me like that, there wouldn’t be another season for him. #serious,” he wrote.
But the Internet is a very public place, and Twitter guru PBandJenelley immediately picked up on the insult.
“I hope u aren’t talking about me. I think I see the way I act and feel stupid and dumb, don’t have to keep repeating it,” she responded.
We’re happy that Jenelle can not only notice her flaws, but stand up for herself when others doubt her.
Jeff quickly apologized to the Ugg lover, saying, “@PBandJenelley_1 I regret my tweet last night, did not mean to start that mess. Hope all is good with you and your family. Sorry!”
As some of Jeff’s fans backed up his original comments, he continued to straighten things out, tweeting, “Keep in mind before you attack @PBandJenelley_1 that she is someone’s mother and daughter. I did not mean to trigger an attack on her.”
Jenelle has yet to respond to Jeff’s apology, but hopefully we can move past this unfortunate misunderstanding and live harmoniously in Teen Mom Land!
Do you think Jeff should have apologized or was that not necessary? Tell us below!
