Pretty Little Liars Season 3, Episode 18 Review: What Did You Think of “Dead to Me”?

After tonight’s episode of Pretty Little Liars (Season 3, Episode 18: “Dead to Me”), we’re convinced this is the most thrilling season of the ABC Family series yet. (Oh, and that Troian Bellisario deserves an Emmy nod.)

Let’s just say PLL writer Joseph Dougherty wasn’t kidding when he called the episode the series’ “most provocative” hour yet.

To kick off the dramatic hour, Jason (Drew Van Acker) tells Aria (Lucy Hale), Emily (Shay Mitchell), Hanna (Ashley Benson) and Spencer (Troian Bellisario) that they get the chance to say goodbye to Ali (Sasha Pieterse) once and for all. Now that Ali’s remains are back with the DiLaurentis family, they plan on locking up her body in a mausoleum -- where “A” hopefully can’t get to her.

But Spencer isn’t so keen on the idea. She wants nothing to do with the burial. She has too much on her mind -- like working with a private investigator to dig up Toby’s (Keegan Allen) dirty little secrets. However, instead she uncovers Detective Wilden’s dirty secret: He was Ali’s baby daddy!

Speaking of baby daddy drama, Caleb (Tyler Blackburn) discovers his Uncle Jamie is more than his uncle -- he’s his dad! But he doesn’t want to come to terms with it yep. Typical.

Meanwhile, Emily is forced to come to terms with a few most disturbing memories after Dr. Sullivan makes her remember things she would rather forget. At first, we thought Em was the one who killed Ali -- but that was all a mistake. Em confused her nightmares! Instead, Emily recalls the night “A” dug up Ali’s grave. Who was lurking in the shadows? The girl in the red coat!

So who could the girl in the red coat be? Is it Ali?! Sound off in the comments!
