The show’s second season is launching February 5 with three new catty Canadians on board, joining returning Housewives stars Ronnie Seterdahl Negus, Mary Zilba, andJody Claman. So, who are the new Real Housewives of Vancouver Season 2?
First we have Amanda Hansen, a self-professed sex addict and recovering alcoholic. Apparently she has, “given up her partying ways and found strength in a life of sobriety and healthy living.” She also has three children with her ex-husband, a short temper, a boyfriend in Seattle, and a habit of calling people out “on their lies and bad behavior.” Reality jackpot! Next up is the Russian-born Ioulia Reynolds. She’s been married to a much older venture capitalist, and been stepmother to his four children, for five years. Ioulia (pronounced Yoo-lee-ah) wants to make it as a broker in the art world, but we’re more excited that she has, “an exotic accent, a fiery Russian temper, and a unique sense of humour that doesn't always translate.”
And finally, we have the winner of the most fabulous name award: Robin Renee Richmond Reichman. She’s a Texas transplant who spent eight years working in Dallas-area prisons before making the move north 19 years ago. This recent divorcee and her two young daughters live a “country chic lifestyle,” which apparently involves two nannies and a fancy horse with a Prada saddle. Her “appetite for gossip and penchant for partying” make her both a conflicted Christian and a problem for fellow Housewives.
We were sad to see “gay man in a beautiful woman’s body” Christina Kiesel and she-of-the-questionable-husband Reiko Mackenzie go, but we can’t wait to see what these new Real Housewives of Vancouver are gonna bring to the small screen. Bring it on, ladies!
