Grammys 2013: CBS Enforces Dress Code — Which Fashion Choices Are Banned?
If you’re hoping to spot nip slips, upskirts, or sideboob reveals at this Sunday’s Grammy Awards ceremony, CBS is trying its best to ruin your chances.
Deadline has gotten hold of a leaked “Wardrobe Advisory” the network is sending around to attendees of the award show, and the dress code is pretty stringent.
“Please be sure that buttocks and female breasts are adequately covered,” the statement reads. “Thong-type costumes are problematic. Please avoid exposing bare, fleshy under-curves of the buttocks and buttock crack. Bare sides or under-curvature of the breasts is also problematic.”
Oooh, CBS, we love when you talk dirty.
The network goes on to ask the stars of the music world to cover their genitals to avoid revealing “‘puffy’ bare skin” — best cancel that Brazilian wax appointment, stars — to not wear brand names or text advertising organized causes, and to clear any “foreign language” by CBS’s Standards and Practices department.
Moral of the story: the celebs may need to leave their nipple pasties at home this year. Somewhere in the world, Lil Kim is softly weeping.
