Usher Wins 2013 Grammy Award For “Climax”

In order for coaches on The Voice to be taken seriously by their contestants, they must have plenty of accolades under their belts in the industry. At last night’s 55th Annual Grammy Awards on Feb. 10, new coach Usher was the only member of The Voice family to take home a Grammy.

The sexy singer grabbed some gold for his song “Climax” in the Best R&B Performance category. This is Usher’s eighth Grammy, giving him the most awards out of any Voice coach past or present.

Adam Levine and Maroon 5 were nominated in two categories last night, but failed to take home the prize. Blake Shelton was also nominated, but despite his CMA victories, he failed to land a Grammy.

Usher’s list of awards is impressive, even for someone who’s been in the business for more than a decade. Are you surprised that he has the most Grammy awards out of The Voice cast? Tell us below!
