Once Upon a Time Script Spoiler: Rumple Cashes in a Favor in “Manhattan”
Who doesn’t love to skip a few pages ahead? Once Upon A Timeproducers love to do just that based on this recent script sneak peek. Yesterday, they tweeted a line from the next episode (Season 2, Episode 14: “Manhattan”): “That favor you owe me. This is it. Get him to talk to me.” The line is uttered by none other than Storybrooke’s resident pawnbroker, Mr. Gold/Rumplestiltskin (Robert Carlyle), and we know he says it is to Emma (Jennifer Morrison) based on this promo. Looks like he is cashing in the favor Emma owes him from Season 1. We kind of thought the whole “dropping everything to help me find my son in a city of 8 million” was the favor, but maybe it has several parts?
We can also assume the “him” he is referring to is Rumple’s son, Baelfire, who Rumple, Emma, and Henry (Jared Gilmore) are in the Big Apple to find. Looks like Bae is not too keen on talking to the father who chose magic over his own son. Emma might have a chance at convincing him considering our theory that Baelfire is also Neal Cassady (Michael Raymond-James), Emma’s first love (and Henry’s father), is looking more and more possible. Which means “Manhattan” is shaping up to be a pretty epic episode.
