Who is Adam Sanders? American Idol 2013 Contestant Background Info
We live for spoilers about each new season of American Idol. Thankfully, judge Keith Urban gave us some low hanging fruit in a backstage interview with Ryan Seacrest for E! News. When Ryan asked him if anyone stood out already, he immediately named Adam Sanders as a singer to watch during Hollywood Week.
So just who is this young singer who’s captured the attention of Idol’s hunkiest judge?
We did a little digging and, as it turns out, Adam auditioned for Season 10 of Idol and has also tried out for Oxygen’s The Glee Project. This talented crooner hails from the Lone Star State (San Antonio, to be exact) and, between his Facebook page and YouTube channel, he has plenty of songs for you to sample.
If his cover of Jason Mraz’s “I Won’t Give Up” doesn’t give you chills, you may want to check for a pulse. Adam’s also not afraid to let his weird side run wild; in one video, he sings Beyonce’s “Halo” in what looks to be a shower with a pair of boxers on his head.
Sadly, our Top 40 spoiler list doesn't list Adam as one of the lucky ones to make it past Hollywood Week. His final moment came after he took on Celine Dion's "Taking Chances" during Round 4 of Hollywood Week.
