Singer Bryan Adams and Alicia Grimaldi brought a bundle of joy (a girl!) into the world this week, reports People. Showing little Lula the ropes will be Bunny, her 22-month-old sis. Adams became a first-time dad in 2011, when he was 51.
And what did they name the little one? Lula Rosylea! Bryan explained the meaning of her name to People, saying, “Lula Rosylea decided to arrive at tea time. Rosylea is cockney rhyming slang in London for ‘cup of tea’ and the name Lula comes from Gene Vincent‘s song ‘Be-Bop-A-Lula.’”
Sounds pretty fitting to us!
In 2011, Adams gushed to CBS News about fatherhood, saying, "There isn't anything I don't like about it [being a father]."
