Kandi Burruss Defends Her New Gospel Single — What Is She Saying?
Last week on The Real Housewives of Atlanta, songbird Kandi Burruss stepped back into the studio to add yet another musical genre to her roster: Gospel. Naturally, she's been getting a lot of criticism on her choice, considering she owns an intimate toy line and stars in her own sex-centered web show, Kandi Koated Nights.
One of her Twitter followers accused her of sending mixed signals to her fans by doing a Gospel song without cancelling KKN, but Kandi quickly stood up for herself: "No mixed signals. The song clearly states that I'm a sinner. Relates 2 people who believe n God but they're not perfect christians," she responded.
To another Twitterverse member wondering why Kandi would attempt Gospel, Kandi explained, "The song is my testimony of what I've been thru & how I deal with things. I think a lot of people will relate."
