LeAnn Rimes Sues Dentist for Wrecking Her Teeth — and Her Career
The “other woman” in Brandi Glanville’s life — ex-hubby Eddie Cibrian’s new wife, country singer LeAnn Rimes — is baring her teeth, literally, in a new lawsuit against her dentist.
TMZ reports that the country singer has sued Dr. Duane C. McKay, whom she visited on several occasions over the last three years for various procedures, including getting upper front veneers and crowns which she was told would ease her TMJ-related pain and improve the appearance of her teeth.
However, LeAnn states in the suit that the dental work has actually left her in terrible pain and that her mouth often bleeds because of the work.
The 30-year-old blonde also claims she has had to receive nine painful root canal surgeries, bone grafting, and a temporary bridge — not to mention a round of physical therapy.
In the lawsuit, LeAnn claims that she will have a "permanent cosmetic deficiency" as a result of Dr. McKay's work and that the pain she has endured has stopped her from singing and performing live.
The Blue singer is seeking unspecified damages for physical, emotional, and psychiatric injuries and is seeking compensation for loss of past and future earnings.
LeAnn has often took to her Twitter account to complain about her teeth troubles.
Last February, she tweeted: “OK, coming clean... I had minor surgery this week, and I've been in so much pain, it's not even funny.
“Nothing major — just annoying! Pain, pain, go away! When it's mouth pain and jaw pain, it makes your whole head pound! Yuck!”
It’s hard to separate her from that crazy Brandi-Eddie love triangle, and we have no way of knowing how truthful this suit is, but we genuine hope her pain is eased sooner rather than later!
