The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills’ Marisa Zanuck and Yolanda Foster might have gotten into a Twitter tiff earlier this month over some misconstrued blog comments, but Marisa insists there is no ill-will on her part — just a bit of dry humor. “I was simply having fun with Yolanda’s persona... without malice or mean spirit,” she wrote in her Bravo blog. “While i don’t know her well, what I do see is a wonderful woman who adores her children and husband and lives an immaculate lifestyle.”
Marisa went on to point out that if a show like Saturday Night Live poked fun at Yolanda’s “immaculate lifestyle” that no one would bat an eyelash.
We’d like to point out that Marisa is now comparing herself to Lorne Michaels, which seems like a bit of a stretch. But we digress.
“The point here is that everything I say (or write) should be taken with a giant salt lick... not too seriously and not too literally,” she explained. “Hopefully over time you will learn to know me better and understand my personality.”
We’ll have to see if Marisa gets more screen time during Season 3.
