Once Upon a Time Spoilers: Young [SPOILER] in Storybrooke

Once Upon a Time is constantly messing with our expectations, but a new collection of set photos hint at a plotline that we really never saw coming.

As we've already reported, August (Eion Bailey) is returning to Storybrooke on Season 2, Episode 18: “Selfless, Brave, and True.” Well, now a fan at Vancity filming has caught him on camera, and what we're shown is very interesting.

Greenscreen Eion Bailey. Some photos show Eion Bailey in a green screen hood, which suggests that there are special effects involving his face.

August on the ground? The fan also reports seeing a scene where August is lying on the ground surrounded by the Charmings and his father. Sounds not great for him...

Young Pinocchio. But here's the really weird part. Jakob Davies, who plays young Pinocchio was also on set, and the fan describes seeing him physically switch places with Eion during the scene where August is on the ground. The Blue Fairy (Keegan Connor Tracy) was also in that scene.

The obvious conclusion is that August is somehow turned back into a younger version of himself. Is that really what happens? If not, why is the actor who plays Young Pinocchio around while they're filming in Storybrooke? If it is, is it permanent?

Do you like the idea of August turning into a younger version of himself, if that is, indeed, what happens? Share your thoughts in the comments below!
