According to the New York Post, Jay-Z and Beyonce toured Michael Jackson’s now shuttered 2,700-acre SoCal estate and may be interested in buying the $29 million property. Or maybe they just wanted to take a look.
Jay-Z told the Post, “I’ve got no interest in Neverland,” but the couple did tour the abandoned property with Colony Capital owner Thomas Barrack Jr., who manages the estate. “If Barrack took them to the ranch himself ... there has got to be something to it,” a family member said Friday. (Maybe he just did that because they were curious VIPs?)
Michael’s brother, Randy, said Neverland is something they would like to keep in the family, but the estate can do what it wishes. MJ’s kids also reportedly get upset whenever anyone talks about a potential sale. “It’s the home they loved, the home their father loved and where they can still connect with him,” the unnamed family member said.
According to the Post, Prince, 16, Paris, 14, and Blanket, 10, stand to inherit Neverland when they turn 30.
