The Walking Dead Season 3 Episode 11 Spoilers: What Happens on “I Ain’t a Judas”?
SPOILERS and speculation ahead!
Next week — on Sunday, February 24 — The Walking Dead Season 3 Episode 11, "I Ain't a Judas," will air on AMC. Here's the official synopsis: “Rick and the group must make a choice when security is threatened; Andrea grows uneasy.”
What does that mean? On Episode 10, “Home,” The Governor’s Team Woodbury group attacked the prison, killing Axel (RIP, Mustache Man!) and unleashing zombies into the prison yard. So will Rick's group stay at the prison? Try to re-fortify or find a new safe place? Or just head off to Woodbury to kick The Governor's booty?
It sounds like the current plan is to stay and fortify. The Dixon brothers also returned to the prison just in time to save Rick. It sounds like Merle makes a small amount of progress this episode, even though Carol tells Daryl his brother isn't good for him. It probably helps Merle's case that he was there fighting with Team Prison last week, while Andrea — who visits the prison this week — has literally been sleeping with the enemy.
Andrea growing “uneasy” is an eyeroll-inducer. The time for Andrea to grow uneasy was back in the first eight episodes. What will she do, now that she knows The Gov did attack the prison, despite his promise? Head here for specific spoiler details on Andrea's major role on Episode 11. She's playing both sides and it's going to catch up to her at some point.
According to the spoilers, the episode ends with Rick deciding to match The Governor's strength and desire for destruction. Rick tells Daryl to babysit Merle and takes Carl and Michonne on a supply run. So that should lead us into Episode 12, "Clear," which shows the three of them wandering around a town. Here are the current play-by-play spoilers on Episode 12, if you want them. Episode 12 has been promoted as “something special” and probably a highlight of the season.
