American Idol 2013 Predictions: Who Will Go Home From Las Vegas Round 1?
As we reported in our American Idolspoilers piece, each Season 12 Top 40 hopeful only gets one chance to perform in Las Vegas, and yet the shows are two hours each night.
You do the math, but we think the powers that be are going to give us a lot of backstory this year, which will make it all the harder to say goodbye to these folks come elimination time. Alas, five have to go each night, and these are our picks for those who will hit the American Idol 2013 chopping block from Wednesday night’s show.
Those who are going to perform are below tonight are:
February 20 @ 8-10 pm ET: Las Vegas Rounds: 10 Girls Perform
Adriana Latonio -- There has been too little buzz surrounding this gal, and the music samples she had on YouTube revealed a pretty voice, but one that was lacking in power.
Amber Holcomb -- Who? Exactly. This girl did not stand out during Hollywood Week and, although we’re always up for a dark horse, we think this may be the end of the Idol road for her.
Jenny Beth Willis -- As MJ Santilli of MJs Big Blog said of Jenny Beth, she’s a “mediocre country singer,” and with hopefuls like Brandy Hotard and Janelle Arthur in the competition, we think she’ll be many other great voices, we think she’ll be pushed out this round. What do you think of our guesses? Who would you choose? eclipsed by their talent.
Kamaria Ousley -- Honestly, did we miss even seeing this girl during Hollywood Week? Unless she takes us by surprise, we think she’ll be going home.
Tenna Torres -- This was a tough one, as this girl did make Mariah Carey cry with her initial audition, but there are so many other great voices, we think she’ll be pushed out this round. What do you think of our guesses? Who would you choose?
