Kourtney Kardashian Pushed Herself Too Hard To Lose Baby Weight!
To a lot of new moms, getting back in bikini shape less than six months after giving birth sounds (and is) totally insane. But after Kourtney Kardashian have birth to daughter Penelope last July, she was not only back in a bikini, she was posing in her swimsuit on the cover of a magazine!
Intense though her 44-pound weight loss may seem, Kourtney actually took things easy this time around. Apparently after her son Mason was born in 2009, Kourt went a little off the deep end when it came to getting her body back.
"I was comparing myself to other people and putting all this pressure on myself," she told US Weekly recently. "I was working out and not eating enough. I definitely pushed myself too hard."
So after Nelly was born, Kourtney was determined to lose her baby weight the healthy way, without sacrificing time with her kids. That meant a lot of high energy dance videos at home, a lot of workouts with pregnant little sister Kim, a lot of early mornings and some baby-centric activities.
"The trainer comes over at 7 in the morning when my kids are still asleep so I don't have any mom guilt," Kim said. "Sometimes I think, Why should I work out when I can spend time with my kids? I feel guilty doing something for me. So working out at home is really nice. And when I don't do that, I go for a jog or do morning yoga. Sometimes when I'm playing on the floor with Penelope, I'll do a few sit-ups."
All those sit-ups paid off, and the 5-foot tall star is back down to 106 pounds. (Scott Disick must be delighted—we hear he likes Kourt when she’s on the skinnier side.) Maybe she and Tracy Anderson can put together
