Snooki Fights Back Against Twitter Hater Who Calls Her a “Fat Chick”

Who knew something as innocent as a salad could spark a Twitter fight?

One of the things we love about our girl Snooki is that she’s never afraid to speak her mind and stand up for herself and loved ones. And even though normally “ignorance & bullies don’t phase this bitch” — as she’s written on her Twitter profile and proven to us over the years by letting the haters roll off her back — sometimes she has to say something!

Last night, during Snooki & JWOWW, someone on Twitter made a nasty tweet directed at Snooks for her cooking, declaring that making a salad with Doritos is “definitely a move only a fat chick does.” So not cool!

Snooki was quick to respond and call out the hater, tweeting: “Ppl like u r why girls have body issues.” When another fan thanked her for standing up for girls with curves, Snooks replied: “Always! Can’t stand people!”

We can definitely understand why a comment like that would set Snooki off. She revealed in Jersey Shore Season 1 that she’d struggled with an eating disorder, and we all remember the infamous sucker punch JWOWW gave The Situation when he teased Snooks about her weight.

Sadly, that wasn’t the first attack Snooki received on Twitter about her eating habits. Another hater tweeted that she and JWOWW “eat like pigs, so embarrassing, have some class will you?” to which Snooks succinctly responded, “Bite me. Lol @JENNIWOWW.”

Despite all the Twitter drama last night, Snooki got a ton of positive feedback on and made sure to respond to plenty of fans with thanks and love! We’re proud of Snook for sticking up for her and her BFF, and we’ll always have her back, too.

What do you think of the Twitter fight? Did she handle it the right way? Tell us below!
