Things started out dark for the docs, with everyone left at the hospital thinking of jumping ship. Then the situation got worse, when it turned out Pegasus would buy the hospital — to liquidate it. We liked this portion of the episode. It was fast paced and gave us interesting insights into the different characters.

Meanwhile, the docs from the lawsuit were hard at work pitching the hospital to a billionaire in a set of well done, suspectful scenes. When their first meeting with said billionaire went south because no one on their team had administrative experience, they had to think fast, and went to someone who knows all about running a hospital: Richard.

With Richard on board, plus Owen delaying the sale to Pegasus, the docs finally had a winning argument. And yet ... Mr. Billionaire wasn't convinced, almost leaving things on a down note — until Catherine Avery and the Harper-Avery foundation swept in and saved the day. The hospital is saved ... and, hilariously, Jackson is kind of in charge.

We liked this episode quite a bit. The lawsuit/bankruptcy plotline has dragged on for far longer than we would have prefered, but the writers managed to wrap it up in style by doing what they do best: Putting the focus back on the characters. From Alex's adorableness with his patient to April's breakdown to Owen and Cristina's reconciliation, every emotional note felt right. This might not be one of the best episodes in the history of the show, but it was definitely engaging. And we're looking forward to watching Jackson deal with being in charge.

We give this episode 4 stars. What did you think?

Loved it!

I wasn't a fan.
