Pretty Little Liars

How Were the Ratings for Pretty Little Liars Season 3, Episode 20?

Pretty Little Liars cannot be stopped! Ratings held strong for the Chad Lowe-directed (Byron Montgomery) Season 3, Episode 20: “Hot Water.” More than 2.6 million viewers tuned in, with the largest fraction of viewership coming from the female demographics. With a Wesria reunion, a hit-and-run, and some Wrencer romance, how could we not?

PLL maintained its record as Tuesday’s No. 1 television telecast among Females, 12-34 (1.64 million) for the seventh straight week. It has not fallen from the position since the Season 3B winter premiere. What can we say? It’s highly addictive television.

Overall, the show remained at a 1.1. in the Adults, 18-49 demographic, showing especially strong in the Women, 18-34 and Women 18-49 demos. Liars was the No. 1 television telecast in both categories. If the show continues at this pace, it will set a personal record in those key target demographics.

And, just like in previous weeks, fans didn’t just watch, but tweeted. PLL was again Tuesday’s “most social” television series with more than 432,000 tweets and more than 192,000 uniques. This added up to more than five times the number of tweets and more than four time the number of uniques than the second place finisher (Oxygen's The Bad Girls’ Club: Atlanta).
