This story would be infinitely more interesting if Lindsay Lohan had literally sued a pit bull — and lost. Considering it's LiLo, it wouldn't even be a shock.
But no. In 2011, Lindsay sued rapper Pitbull for this line in his song, "Give Me Everything":
Hustlers move aside, so I'm tiptoein', to keep flowin' I got it locked up like Lindsay Lohan.
According to TMZ, in her lawsuit, Lindsay claimed "the lyrics, by virtue of its wide appeal, condemnation, excoriation, disparaging or defamatory statements by the defendants about the plaintiff are destined to do irreparable harm to the plaintiff." As "a professional actor of good repute and standing in the Screen Actors Guild" she was "suing under the New York civil rights laws, which protects people from having their name exploited for commercial purposes."
However, TMZ updated today that a NY federal judge ruled that the song is protected by the First Amendment and Lindsay is barely even mentioned in it. The judge also dismissed Lindsay's allegations of suffering emotional distress. So she’s out of luck — and now this lawsuit is “locked up.”
