"Let me just be clear, it was not out of love at all," Laurie told TV Guide. "So when the fans go nuclear, just so you know, that was not a, 'Oh, he's so handsome while he's sleeping and I have feelings for him.'"
Andrea was a human-rights attorney before the zombie apocalypse, and she's never killed a living human being before — especially not someone in cold blood while he's sleeping. "I think that when she looks down at him and she's about to do it, her better nature, her heart and her higher self comes in and says, 'OK, there's got to be another way,’” Laurie said. “‘He was a father; he loved his wife. There's got to be a way that I can make peace.'"
Andrea is going to try to continue Dale's Season 2 legacy, like when he argued not to kill Randall. Randall was a kid who never caused half the trouble of The Governor (and it's not like Dale spent any time defending Shane, who had more in common with The Gov), but at least Andrea is trying to stop a war.
What do you think? It is hard to just slit someone's throat while he's sleeping — or so we can imagine — and Andrea probably isn't the right person for that job. Do you think she can get the two sides to come together, or is it a lost cause?
