The Kardashians

Did Kim Kardashian and Chris Brown Bond Over Oscars Diss?

Kim Kardashian and Chris Brown both garnered mentions at the 2013 Oscars, but they weren’t exactly honorable, to say the least. Well, from the looks of this photo of them together, it seems as though they may have shared some commiseration over the jokes hurled at their expense last night.

Seth MacFarlane took no prisoners as host of the 85th Annual Academy Awards, hurling jokes at the nominees as well as some other public figures — such as Chris Brown and Kim Kardashian — who weren’t invited to the awards ceremony.

First, while discussing Quentin Tarantino’s Django Unchained, Seth made an allusion to Chris’s 2009 assault on Rihanna: "This is a story about a man fighting to get back his woman who has been subjected to unspeakable violence. Or as Chris Brown and Rihanna call it, a date movie."

Later in the broadcast, Seth joked that, when he saw Argo director Ben Affleck’s bushy facial hair, he thought, “my god, the Kardashians have finally made the jump to film.” Well, the joke’s on YOU, Seth. Kim made her screen debut a long time ago, in 2008’s Disaster Movie!

The R&B singer and reality star bumped into each other briefly at Elton John’s AIDS Foundation Academy Awards After Party, where paps caught a shot of the two of them engaged in a rather animated discussion for “at least 10 minutes,” according to Hollywood Life.

Could they possibly have been talking about the awards? In particular, might they have talked about the audacity of Seth MacFarlane roasting them on the Dolby Theatre stage? It’s a definite possibility.

We want to know what you think — do Chris and Kim seem like the sort of people who can take a joke, or are they more the type to get their feathers ruffled?
