Once Upon a Time Season 2 Script Spoiler: Emma & Rumple Find “Common Ground”

We’ve been dying to see the next Once Upon A Time ep since the epic Season 2, Episode 14: “Manhattan” left us wondering: Will Rumplestiltskin (Robert Carlyle), Emma (Jennifer Morrison), Baelfire/Neal Cassady (Michael Raymond-James), and Henry (Jared Gilmore) ever be one happy family? OUAT is back next week with Season 2, Episode 15: “The Queen is Dead.” OUAT released this script spoiler, giving us our first clue to answering that question.

“It’s a sad truth that the people closest to us are the ones capable of causing us the most pain,” says Rumple in the March 3rd episode. “That’s our common ground, Ms. Swan.”

Sounds like Rumple and Emma are going to have a heart-to-heart about the people they’ve most recently pissed off. In Rumple’s case, that would be his son, Neal/Baelfire, who he did not follow through the portal all those years ago. The two were finally reunited in “Manhattan,” and Neal was less-than-excited to see his long lost dad.

In Emma’s case, that person is Henry. Last time we saw the mother and son duo, he was punishing her with his puppy eyes, upset that she had lied to him in telling him his father (Neal) was dead. Henry told Emma that he thought she was different, but she was “just like her.” Her being adoptive mother, Regina (Lana Parrilla), who also goes by the name The Evil Queen. Yeah, harsh.

We like the Emma/Rumple dynamic, especially now that Rumple is a potential future in-law if Neal and Emma ever work things out. Maybe the two will team up in trying to win back Neal and Henry? We’re all for more family vacays like the one Rumple, Emma, and Henry took to Manhattan. They’re oddly adorable together.

What do you think the dialogue from next week’s episode could mean? Let us know in the comments below!
