Demi Lovato on Wilmer Valderrama Dating Rumors — and Marriage?!
Last week, the Internet was buzzing with reports that Demi Lovato spent Valentine’s Day swapping some major spit with her ex-boyfriend Wilmer Valderrama. Sources spotted the lovebirds “cuddling” during a romantic sushi date in Los Angeles, then “making out” at the mall that very same day.
So naturally, when Demi stopped by On Air With Ryan Seacrest on February 26 to talk about her new single, “Heart Attack,” Ryan didn’t pass up the opportunity to ask about her rumored Valentine’s hookup!
Demi, however, wasn’t exactly ready to share all the romantic details. When Ryan asked what she did on Valentine’s Day, she promptly dodged the question.
While the pop star was able to temporarily distract Ryan by asking him about his own Valentine’s Day with his girlfriend, Julianne Hough, Ryan eventually brought the conversation back to Demi’s rumored outing.
“You can’t bring up my relationship and then not let me bring up your relationship. That’s not fair,” he said. The two bantered back and forth for a while, before Demi finally put that part of the conversation to rest.
"You know what? I open up so much to my fans with my personal life that some things have to stay sacred," she said.
So, whether she and Wilmer had a sexy rendezvous on Valentine’s Day or not, Demi isn’t planning on talking about it with the world any time soon.
Still, the pop star did seem more willing to talk about her love life on a more general level. Demi told Ryan that she “absolutely” thinks she’ll get married someday. In fact, it might even be sooner than later!
Ryan suggested 28 as a possible age to tie the knot, but Demi’s only 20 — so that’s still eight years away. “I don’t know if I could wait that long, if you find somebody,” Demi said.
In summary, Demi’s not talking about her relationship with Wilmer quite yet. But if things do end up getting serious, it sounds like marriage could definitely be on the table. Just tell us where you’re registered, guys.
We’ll start saving up for something nice, just in case.
