Vanderpump Rules’ Jax Taylor Talks About Stassi and SUR — Exclusive
Now that the Vanderpump Rules season 1 finale has come and gone, we're left with one big question... Will Jax be back for season 2? While we certainly don't approve of his lying and cheating ways, it would be a shame to loose the man candy that is Jax (or Jason as he revealed his real name is) next season.
We couldn’t help but notice SUR’s bartender Jax Taylor whenever Lisa Vanderpump asked him to whip up a libation on Real Housewives of Beverly Hills. Luckily, we saw plenty more of him in Bravo’s spin-off Vanderpump Rules. Back before the season premiere, Wetpaint Entertainment spoke with Jax about all the drama in store, especially in relation to his relationship with Stassi. We can't help but wonder if his answer to our last question might hint at whether or not he will be returning for Vanderpump Rules season 2... Wetpaint Entertainment: From the clip I saw online before I came it seemed like you all loved each other so much, but after seeing that preview….. Jax Taylor: If you only knew and you know what, they should have the cameras rolling now, because it’s only getting worse. There’s people here that do not want to be in the same room as people right now. Trust there’s people here that want to get up and leave right now, it’s getting worse. But at the end of the day this is still your job, drama or not, how do you separate the two? It’s hard. It’s not only that I have to come here I have to see people that I don’t want to work with, it’s so catty. I’m a grown man dealing with this catty high school bulls**t and I keep saying I’m not going to get sucked into it, I’m not going to get sucked into it, and I get sucked in! It’s hard to get away with it. I hate gossip but then at the same time I kind of want the gossip. So it’s tough.
Tell me about that clip, you were fairly angry! Yeah I’m fairly angry pretty much through the whole season. A lot of it you’re going to have to wait and see because I can’t give it away but you know.
What can you tell me about the show? It’s about a restaurant… No, it’s a busy, busy establishment. And again we work a lot here and so eventually you’re going to start dating or sleeping with people here because it’s all you are is here and then you go home and go to bed and then go to auditions during the day. So our only time to socialize is when we’re here because most of us have our real jobs, why we’re actually in Hollywood, is during the day. So this kind of place, yeah we’re working but we’re also trying to flirt and date at the same time. We’re all human, we all have our needs and we all want companionship so of course it’s going to happen that we’re all going to end up sleeping with each other because that’s just the way it is.
So in the preview clip, you are dating Stassi, are you still? You’re going to have to wait and see, I can’t tell you.
Come on, the season is wrapped now! I’m not sure if I’m supposed to give that away. You’ll have to wait and see. I will tell you right now that it is extremely interesting how it works out though. It’s extremely interesting.
But you’re saying things aren’t good? It’s almost like the show never ended. Literally they could probably get the cameras in here right now and get more.
How are you adjusting knowing that everyone is about to see all this? I’m still adjusting! On TV I have to relive it, that’s the worst part. This is my first time handling this, and I can’t believe how many people just off the previews alone are already contacting me going what’s going on; what’s this? I’m answering the same questions over and over and over, and it’s going to get worse. But that’s fine; this is what I signed up for. It was a crazy ride, I look back on it and you think it’s over, it’s not over and so now I have to relive it all over again.
