The Bachelor

Was AshLee Frazier’s Engagement Ring Comment Her Downfall?

Sean Lowe is a devout Christian who recently reclaimed his virginity, so it was no surprise when he offered his ladies in waiting invitations to the fantasy suites with the caveat that no hanky panky would go down. But can we really trust Sean, or did he get frisky with his sister wives? According to the Season 17 Bachelor's best buddie / kissing mentor, Arie Luyendyk, Jr., Sean was being 100-percent honest.

"What I saw last night was a very sincere and honest explanation of what he intended to do with his time with the girls on their overnight dates," Arie explains on his Bachelor blog. "Get your minds out of the gutter, people!"

Much like the rest of the world, Arie was blown away by Sean's dates with AshLee Frazier, Catherine Giudici, and Lindsay Yenter, but he thinks AshLee's ring comments were her downfall. "During her date, things seemed to slip away," Arie says. "It felt as if AshLee was doing all the talking, and Sean was not reciprocating all of the compliments and expressions of strong feelings. The ring comment couldn’t have helped either; I immediately made one of those 'eeeeek' faces.

Meanwhile, Arie thinks Lindsay's "inability to express how she feels" is working against her — though he loves the chemistry between Sean and Catherine! "Catherine and Sean are total nerds together," he says. "I don’t know whether to laugh and smile or cry and call for help. I did, however, catch the chemistry before the overnight portion. Sean and Catherine looked really good together — a total change in events from last week."

Um, where have you been, Arie? Catherine and Sean have been perfect from the moment they first laid eyes on each other! But then again, Sean and Lindsay also have major chemistry. Augh, this love triangle is the most confusing math problem ever — no wonder we failed geometry.
