Glee Actress Dumps Her Boyfriend For Being Too Clingy — Report
So far this season, the characters of Glee have been very unlucky in love. From the flurry of breakups earlier in the season to Emma ditching Will at the altar, no one seems to be having much success in their respective romances.
Now it appears that some of this bad relationship mojo is rubbing off on the actor’s real-life romances, as well. Star Magazine reports that a Glee actress has kicked her boyfriend to the curb, and it’s because she thinks he was being too clingy!
Kristin Chenoweth, the petite vocal powerhouse who played Will’s love interest April Rhodes in a number of Glee episodes throughout Seasons 1 and 2, has split from her Bachelor boyfriend Jake Pavelka, the mag reports.
The Broadway star had been seeing the Season 14 Bachelor for months, but it appears that Kristin eventually tired of the chiseled reality star’s fame-seeking ways.
"Kristin realized Jake had nothing going on in his life," a source tells Star. "The more she pulled away, the more clingy he became."
On top of that, Kristin’s friends were convinced that Jake only wanted to date Kristin to make himself more famous. "They didn't trust him," the source says. "He was desperate to extend his 15 minutes of fame and he was using her career as a step up."
There’s no doubt that Kristin and Jake were a bit of an odd couple. She’s a beloved Broadway star and he’s a reality star that plenty of people love to hate. Yet they both grew up in the South, and both stars seemed to share a desire to keep their relationship private.
For all this talk about Jake using Kristin for her star power, the couple was only spotted in public together a couple of times. Do you agree with Kristin’s decision to kick Jake to the curb, or are you about ready to kick her for deciding to let him go?
After all, men with abs that great can be pretty hard to find. Priorities, people. Priorities.
