WNBA Star Faces 65 Years in Prison: Allegedly Fired Gun at Ex’s Car
Chamique Holdsclaw is going to need to rely on a different kind of defense than the athletic kind she's used to.
The WNBA legend has been charged with aggravated assault for allegedly firing a gun at her ex-girlfriend's car last year, according to TMZ.
If the former basketball star is convicted, she could spend 65 years in prison.
Chamique, 35, was arrested in Atlanta last year for allegedly attacking ex-girlfriend Jennifer Lacy's car with a baseball bat and then firing a gun in the car while Jennifer was in the driver's seat.
Sources say Chamique was upset with Jennifer following their breakup.
Chamique is a six-time WNBA all-star who last played in the league in 2010.
